Product Review of Ultimate Minerals Powder Foundation

By Wet 'n Wild

Besides skin care, foundation is the most important part of any woman's makeup. The right foundation can cover imperfections in the skin, smooth out wrinkles and even skin tone. Foundations come in quite a few varieties too. There's liquid, creme to powder, powder and pancake styles of foundations. In recent years there has been a new kid on the block, mineral powder foundations. I recently tried a mineral powder foundation by Wet 'n Wild Beauty. Here is my product review of Ultimate Minerals Powder Foundation by Wet 'n Wild.

The first time I heard about mineral powder foundations I was not convinced. I had been a long time user of liquid makeup and I thought it just couldn't get any better. Boy was I wrong. Now, I prefer mineral powder foundations to liquid makeup any day of the week.

The Ultimate Minerals Powder Foundation covers like a creamy make up. But unlike creams and liquid makeups, the Ultimate Foundation Mineral Powder doesn't settle in the lines of my face. It just dusts over the surface covering brown spots and blemishes. The Ultimate Minerals come in four skin tones, Fair, Light, Medium and Tan. With a color for all skin tones, Ultimate Minerals goes on with the stroke of a brush. I loved it. My skin looked luminous and the skin tone was even.

The Ultimate Minerals comes in an easy to hand jar. The bottom of the jar is glass like and allows you to see when you are getting low on your foundation. The lid has a dual purpose. As a jar lid and when you flip out it over and shake, you'll have plenty of make up in the lid. Use your kabuki brush and apply the foundation in circular motions all over your face. I started at my forehead and worked my way down working in circles.

I liked this product. It was easy to use and it worked beautifully. The price was great only $5 for a month's supply. Mary Kay's Mineral Powder is $14 for a month's supply. I think I have found a winner!

You'll need a kabuki brush to apply your mineral powder. Kabuki brushes are small brushes that have a flat brush surface. The flat surface glides along the surface of your face distributing the powder evenly.

Once you experience the lightness of Ultimate Minerals, you'll never go back to liquids.
