Mix the two ingredients to reach your desired consistency, and while in the shower, apply it all over your body in a circular motion. Coconut oil is a natural ingredient that can be found in the kitchen; it is often used as a cooking oil, but works great as a beauty and household product. It is normally solid, but becomes a liquid in warmer temperatures. Naturally smooth dry skin by applying coconut oil daily after showering. It can be used as an all-over moisturizer.

The best way to hydrate rough, dry skin naturally is to start with the inside of your body; taking in plenty of water will keep the outside hydrated. The most obvious way to do so is by drinking lots of water. You don't necessarily need to drink eight glasses, but drink water when you feel thirsty. I can tell I am dehydrated when my lips start to get dry. Another way to get plenty of water in your diet is to eat foods with a high water content: fruit, vegetables, and even soups.
